Since you said you want to become a 'better' writer (I think 'different' writer is much better though) here are my (hopefully not unsolicited advices for you format-wise)

- try to format your article better in order to let your readers digest it better

- try to stay more focused-

- try to imagine the 'reader' you're writing this for

- try to think of a better pub, for instance Age Of Empathy.
